Our Beaches are Beautiful!!!

I just want everyone to know that as of Saturday, June 20, 2010 our Pensacola beach across from Portofino is breathtaking. We are still booking and photographing our beach location sessions.
It angers me and everyone else who relies on our beautiful beaches for their income to see it disappear due to the media hype. For the two months we have had to deal with the oil spill out in the gulf, our beaches in Pensacola have stayed beautiful. Those who report on the news have jobs and income, they are not from here, they will go back to their cozy homes and look for the next disaster to report on blocking out how their words affected the local people of an area. As far as our local news reporters, they have been keeping us informed with honest reporting. Thank you!
The income of the businesses that have been lost due to media hype is just wrong. This oil spill is horrific for those it has already touched, but at this time our area is still beautiful and we pray it will stay that way.
If you have already made plans on visiting Pensacola, call your hotel and ask them what to expect regarding if there is an odor or oil on the beach. Don't let the media steer you wrong.
